Producing an ITMAS File for VWG

An ITMAS file is a parts alignment file that records stock movement and sends it to VWG (Volkswagen Group). This file is essential for enabling VWG to calculate part reorders accurately and maintain alignment with your inventory.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Access the ITMAS File Generation Tool

   • Navigate to Interfaces > Volkswagen > VW Parts Generate ITMAS within your system.

2. Generate the File

   • Select the Generate button to create the ITMAS file.

3. File Transmission

   • Once generated, ensure the file is transmitted to VWG overnight. This step may take a few days to kick in on VW's side.

4. Completion

   • This will take about 5 minutes to generate and send the file, once complete the below message will appear.
